The Electrical team leader is a key role in prioritising and delivering the day-to-day KPI's within the Electrical department.
The Person:
* Experience of managing a team within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
* Familiar with working on production equipment conveyors, packaging
* Must have an electrical maintenance background
* Previous experience of managing, coaching and developing colleagues would be beneficial.
* Able to work cross functionally.
* Strong communicator.
* Natural ability to plan and organise.
The Role:
* Distribute and monitor the teams work to achieve the delivery of a Planned maintenance program to ensure reliability of equipment and to improve asset performance.
* Ensuring the teams timely completion of work orders giving accurate and valuable detail for asset history following the functional failure.
* Lead the department Engineering RCA (root cause analysis) to stop any issues from re-occurring.
* Perform calibration services in accordance with work order instructions, associated procedures and regulatory standards.
* Continuous improvement of equipment, improving safety, efficiency, changeovers and minimising downtime.
* Ensure that all daily admin is carried out, such as the shift handover etc
* Ensure presence at meetings and communicates actions back to engineering to action out.
This role is working a Monday to Friday Days role.
* Will include call outs which will be on a 1 week in 4 rotation.
The salary will be £47,000pa..
