Vacancy - Technical Support Engineer
Industry – Electrical / Circuit Protection
Location – office based role near Northampton, Northamptonshire
Working hours – Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
Salary – up to circa £65,000 per annum + bonus

What you’ll be doing:
• Providing technical support for electrical circuit protection products
• Advising customers on product selection, installation, and troubleshooting
• Collaborating with sales and engineering teams to solve technical challenges
• Creating and updating user guides, FAQs, and support materials
• Delivering product training sessions (internal and external)
• Managing technical support requests via phone, email, and live chat
• Keeping up to date with new products, technologies, and market trends

What we’re looking for:
Essential:
• Experience working with circuit protection products or related electrical components
• Solid understanding of electrical theory and practical applications
• Great communication skills – you can break down complex ideas into simple solutions
• A problem solver with attention to detail
• Comfortable using technical support systems and tools
• Based within easy commuting distance of Northampton area
Desirable:
• Electrical qualifications such as electrical installation, wiring regulations or testing
• Previous experience in technical support or customer service roles
