Electrical Technician
Location: Norwich-based, with coverage required across Norfolk and northern parts of North Suffolk
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday)
Annual Pay: £35,000 - £36,000 (With opportunities to progress to £38,800)
Extras: Company van provided and potential for additional pay via emergency response rota
Role Overview
We're on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Electrical Technician to join our dynamic maintenance team. If you're passionate about keeping homes safe and functional while making a difference to people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you.
Most assignments will be in the Norwich area, but some travel across Norfolk and North Suffolk will be expected. This role will focus on day-to-day repair work, diagnosing electrical issues, preparing properties for new tenants, and conducting safety inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out domestic electrical repairs in both tenanted and vacant properties
* Participate in internal electrical safety testing (EICR) as part of our routine compliance checks
* Assist with planned electrical projects, including property modifications and kitchen refits

Required Qualifications (or their equivalent, based on qualification era):
* AM2
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
* 18th Edition
* Full UK driving licence (travel is essential)
* 2391 Testing & Inspection (or willingness to attain)
Plus:
* Full UK driving licence (travel is essential)
* Background in residential property maintenance
A Basic DBS check will be conducted. Participation in our out-of-hours callout rotation is also required.
