Hours: Mon–Thurs 08:00–16:30, Fri 08:00–13:30
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
An established engineering and manufacturing firm based in the South West is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Wireperson to support the production of bespoke machinery supplied to specialist industries worldwide.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident with electrical wiring for both control panels and on-machine systems, working to detailed electrical schematics.
Key Responsibilities:

Wiring of control panels and complex industrial machinery
*
Interpreting and working from electrical drawings and wiring schematics
*
Installing and terminating motors, drives, relays, transformers, PLCs, and HMIs
*
On-machine wiring involving trunking, cable tray, junction boxes, and sensors
*
Working collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a tidy, safe work environment
*
Fault finding and supporting testing or commissioning as required
Candidate Profile:
*
Fully time-served electrician with relevant panel/on-machine wiring experience
*
18th Edition certified
*
Able to read and interpret electrical diagrams accurately
*
Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
*
Practical, hands-on and solutions-focused approach to tasks
*
A background in special-purpose machinery or automation systems would be an advantage
