Electrical Fitter– Rolling Stock Passenger Door Overhauls
South West
£40,(Apply online only) per year (O.T.E of £45,(Apply online only) - £50,(Apply online only) with overtime)
Monday to Friday – days
Ford & Stanley Talentwise, specialists in rail recruitment, are seeking Electrical Technicians to support a major Rolling Stock passenger door overhaul project in the South West of England.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team working on essential upgrades to passenger train fleets, ensuring safety, reliability, and performance across the UK rail network.
The Opportunity
As an Electrical Technician, you will:
Perform passenger door overhauls using schematics, diagnostic tools, and test equipment
Work to strict safety and quality standards in a depot environment
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet delivery targets
What We’re Looking For
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Previous electrical Rolling Stock experience
Electrical testing, fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Location & Hours
Southwest England
Monday – Friday, Day shifts (Flexible working hours may be available)
