NES Fircroft, on behalf of a leading Oil & Gas operator, is hiring experienced Offshore Electrical Technicians to join their offshore teams in the UK North Sea. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a major operator on a long-term contract.
Contract Details
Duration: Initial 9-12-month contract with high potential for extension
Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, 12-hour shifts
Mobilisation Base: Norwich
Day Rate: PAYE
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance on all electrical equipment following Preventative Maintenance Routines (PMRs) in Maximo.
Conduct EX maintenance on all EX electrical equipment.
Participate in weekly planning meetings to assist in planning the next shift.
Attend and contribute to daily morning and evening wash-up meetings.
Raise necessary Work Control Certificates (WCCs) for non-routine tasks, including level 2 WCCs.
Issue and manage Isolation Control Certificates (ICCs) for electrical and other trade-specific tasks requiring isolation.
Develop switching procedures for High Voltage (HV) systems.
Execute HV and LV switching, including isolations and de-isolations.
Respond to breakdowns as required and liaise with the Terminal Electrical Engineer to resolve complex issues.
Qualifications & Experience
Valid BOSIET, MIST, and Offshore Medical with no restrictions.
CompEx Certification is essential.
