Job Description
Vacancy: Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer
Salary: Up to £41,000 per annum
Location: Dartford – Work based within 30 minutes of home address; travel beyond that is reimbursed.

A well-established compliance and safety services provider is seeking skilled Electrical Test & Inspection Engineers to support ongoing expansion. This role involves electrical testing, inspections, and remedial work primarily across domestic residential properties.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Perform fixed wire installation testing (EICR)
*
Diagnose and rectify faults identified in inspections
*
Submit accurate certification and reports via tablet software
*
Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and procedures
*
Work a minimum of 40 hours/week (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm), with optional evening and weekend work available
*
Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach
Candidate Requirements:
*
18th Edition (City & Guilds 2382)
*
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 Part 1 & 2
*
City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installations
*
City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (preferred – training may be provided)
*
Strong experience in domestic electrical work
*
Sound knowledge of Health & Safety practices
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Basic IT skills (use of tablets/software)
