About the Company

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Tester to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role will involve working across various active construction sites, carrying out testing, inspection, and certification of electrical installations — including temporary site services — to ensure full compliance with current regulations and project specifications.
This is a hands-on role requiring a strong technical understanding, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and site management.
Key Responsibilities
*
Conduct electrical testing, inspection, and certification in line with industry regulations (BS7671).
*
Test and verify temporary site installations, lighting, and power systems.
*
Identify, diagnose, and rectify electrical faults safely and efficiently.
*
Maintain accurate test records and documentation.
*
Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards.
*
Collaborate with site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
*
Manage and maintain testing tools and equipment.
Qualifications & Experience
*
Proven experience in electrical testing, inspection, and fault-finding within M&E or construction environments.
*
Strong understanding of temporary site services and electrical distribution.
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) – essential.
*
Inspection & Testing qualification (2391, 2394/2395, or equivalent) - essential
*
Gold ECS
*
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*
Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
