Job Description
Fixed Wire Test Engineer – Lancaster | £42.5k basic + Van | £55–60k OTE
North West sparks – want to stay local, earn £42.5k base, and have the option to push to £55–60k if you choose? This role keeps you home most nights while giving you everything you need to succeed – van, kit, training, and stability.
The Package
*
£42,519 basic salary.
*
£55–60k achievable with OT & uncapped bonus – but only if you want it.
*
Van (personal use), laptop, uniform, full testing kit.
*
Paid travel time, fuel card, all expenses covered.
*
31 days’ holiday.
*
Serious investment in training & qualifications.
The Role
*
Fixed wire testing (EICRs) + small remedials.
*
Emergency lighting, fire alarm testing, thermal imaging.
*
Use of modern cloud-based software for certs.
*
Straightforward 1-stage interview.
You’ll Need
*
NVQ Level 3 + AM2.
*
Electrical testing experience.
*
18th Edition / 2391 preferred but not essential.
*
A full UK driving licence (2+ years, max 6 points).
*
A valid DBS check (or willingness to complete one).
