Job Description

Our client is a leading electrical engineering company with over 20 years of successful trading and a team of more than 80 skilled engineers. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking up to 10 Mobile Electricians to join their expanding team. General Description: Carrying out Fixed wiring testing (EICRs) in a variety of properties, predominantly in the communal areas of housing association/local council properties and in sheltered accommodation schemes.  The post holder will also be required to complete required remedial works, including small installation works such as 3 phase distribution board replacements. The post holder may also at times be required to complete fixed wiring testing and inspection within domestic units. Some assigned jobs will involve working with an electrician’s mate helping with remedial work, paperwork, tidying etc. The post holder will assume responsibility for completing all jobs assigned to them by the company which will predominantly be test and inspection of electrical installations, but could also include (not limited to), electrical installation, reactive maintenance, and planned maintenance. The company will expect all jobs to be completed to a high standard with the job holder using all technical knowledge to do so. Responsibilities and Duties: Complete EICR’s and carry out necessary remedial works to current standards and client specifications Carry out electrical testing, inspection, installation and maintenance works as required. Have a good understanding of electrical systems and be able to identify/ report faults. Interpret electrical / site drawings when necessary Ensure safe working procedures in accordance with the current health and safety regulations and all other relevant regulations. Fill out all paperwork and/or use the Oneserve / Easy Cert applications accurately and in a timely manner Communicate with clients, residents and colleagues when required. Deliver exceptional customer service Adhere to any company policy To undertake any training provided by the company To Support any business change for the benefit of the company Any ad-hoc duties as reasonably instructed by your line manager or directors  Qualifications: City and Guilds NVQ level 3 electrotechnical qualification or equivalent AM2 practical assessment preferred City and Guilds 2391-51 or equivalent City and Guilds 2382-18 – BS7671 18th Edition update Asbestos Awareness. PACKAGE : £42/45K Based on experience based on a 40 hr week Company Van & Fuel card – Private used allowed. 2 salary reviews a year All parking expenses paid via app system No call out rota Private healthcare and discounted gym memberships 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays- rising by 1 with every year of service Staff socials ( summer and Christmas parties) Sick pay Pension up to 3
