Join a well-established manufacturing business as the electrically biased maintenance engineer, working within a small team, maintaining equipment and machinery, fault finding and continuous improvement activities. This is an excellent opportunity if you’re an experienced maintenance engineer looking for a stable days-based role with no weekend working.
Key Responsibilities
Working with the manager and one newly qualified engineer.
Carrying out activities on the Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) programme.
Diagnose and repair electrical and basic mechanical faults.
Support production teams with engineering solutions.
Maintain documentation as necessary and assist with site improvement projects.
Requirements
Essential
* Electrical maintenance background in manufacturing
* 18th Edition (or willingness to update)
* Experience working with electrically controlled equipment.
* Knowledge of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics and pneumatics.
* Ability to diagnose faults and resolve electrical failures.
* Computer literate with the ability to use maintenance management systems and maintenance records.
* Positive attitude with a commitment to safety, reliability and continuous improvement.
