Job Title: Electrician - Responsive Repairs (Frome)
Location: Frome, UK
Pay Rate: £21 per hour (PAYE, including holiday pay) £24 - CIS - must use own vehicle/tools
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours per week, 30-minute lunch break)
Are you a skilled electrician looking for a stable role with great benefits? We're hiring an Electrician to join a team in Frome, working on responsive repairs within occupied housing. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term role with the potential to go permanent.
What You'll Be Doing:
Carrying out responsive electrical repairs in occupied housing
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with regulations
Providing excellent customer service to tenants
What We Offer:
£21 per hour PAYE, including holiday pay OR £24 - CIS - (must use own vehicle/tools)
Company van + fuel card provided
Uniform provided
Paid training on manual handling & working at heights
Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term career prospects
What You'll Need:
✅ 18th Edition Qualification (essential)
✅ Experience in domestic or social housing electrical work
✅ A full clean UK driving licence (essential for van use)
✅ Own hand tools and power tools (specialist equipment provided)
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude
Requirements/Training/Certificates:
Asbestos awareness certification (required - application can be provided)
Basic DBS check (required - application can be provided)
Manual handling & working at heights training (required - application can be provided)
Previous experience in responsive electrical repairs within housing is desirable
