Job Description
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Electrician to join North West Leicestershire Council's Housing Repairs Team on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician to carry out new installations and electrical testing across our housing stock. You’ll be part of a busy team delivering maintenance and building works to both occupied and vacant properties.
Key Responsibilities:

Complete electrical works to current standards and regulations
*
Deliver jobs within required timescales
*
Coordinate tasks with the Asset Management Support Team
*
Use all provided tools and equipment safely and effectively
*
Follow all Health and Safety policies
*
Completing rewiring tasks
Requirements:
*
Full UK driving licence and own transport (with business insurance)
*
Minimum two years’ work references, including one from your most recent employer
*
Previous re-wire experience is highly desirable
