Job Opportunity: Industrial Electricians - Contract Roles (Cumbria)
Location: Cumbria, UK
Contract Type: Temporary / Contract
Start Date: Immediate starts available
Rate: Competitive hourly/day rates (DOE)
Duration: Ongoing projects - potential for long-term work
We are currently seeking experienced Industrial Electricians to join our team on a contract basis for multiple industrial projects across Cumbria. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile installations in sectors such as water treatment, manufacturing, and energy.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation, maintenance, and testing of industrial electrical systems
Cable containment, glanding, and terminating
Test & Inspection of electrical installations (initial verification and periodic)
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
Working independently or as part of a team on site
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
ECS/CSCS card (essential)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable)
City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (Test & Inspection qualification preferred)
Previous experience in industrial environments (e.g., water, utilities, manufacturing)
Ability to travel to sites across Cumbria
