Electrician - Long Term Contract
Location: Aldermaston, Berkshire
Overview
We are currently seeking qualified Electricians to join our installation team on a large commercial new build project in Aldermaston. This is a long-term contract offering consistent work, competitive rates, and the opportunity to be part of a skilled and professional team.
Responsibilities
• Carry out electrical installation, containment, and wiring works in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
• Install and terminate cables, lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
• Ensure all electrical work meets 18th Edition wiring regulations and site safety standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors, improvers, and other trades to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently and safely.
Requirements
• ECS Gold Card (approved electrician or installation electrician).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (essential).
• Proven experience working on commercial or industrial new build projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Good understanding of containment systems (tray, basket, conduit, trunking).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• IPAF 3a/3b, PASMA, or SSSTS certification (advantageous).
• Must be eligible for security clearance and complete a basic DBS check.
