Job Description
Electrician, Glasgow | £35,000 to £38,000 | perm | Overtime Available
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join an exceptional team within a leading Facilities Management company. This is a static-site role, providing both planned and reactive electrical maintenance as part of a multi-skilled engineering team.
Responsibilities
*
Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) including lighting and plant checks, testing, and general building maintenance.
*
Perform reactive electrical repairs — e.g. to lighting systems, power distribution boards, and small power circuits.
*
Complete routine electrical inspections, testing, and fault-finding across the site.
*
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors carrying out PPM and reactive work.
*
Support the multi-skilled facilities team with general maintenance duties as required.
Requirements
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) qualification.
*
City & Guilds / SVQ Level II or III in Electrical Installations (or equivalent).
*
Proven experience within facilities management or building services environments.
*
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
*
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
