About Us
Our client is a trusted provider of electrical maintenance services, delivering high-quality solutions to commercial and industrial clients. We are seeking an experienced PPM Electrician to join them on a self-employed basis, working night shifts across Southern Airports — primarily Gatwick and Heathrow. The role includes planned preventative maintenance, as well as unitary and reactive work.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out PPM on electrical systems and equipment within the airport environment
Complete unitary and reactive tasks during evening/night hours
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults promptly and effectively
Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and airport regulation standards
Work independently and within a small team to meet scheduled maintenance requirements
Maintain accurate documentation and job records
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualified Electrician
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Valid ECS/CSCS card
Proven experience in PPM maintenance (commercial/industrial preferred)
Airport experience beneficial but not essential
Reliable with consistent night-shift availability
Own tools
Full right to work in the UK
Working hours: 8pm–4am, Monday to Friday
