Electrical Testing & Remedial Engineer
South London (Croydon) | Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00

We’re working in partnership with, a long-established, family-run electrical services provider with over 20 years of trusted delivery across London and the Southeast.
With ongoing growth across their social housing and local authority contracts, they are now looking to add an Electrical Testing & Remedial Works Engineer to their expanding team.
The Opportunity
This is a great role for a driven, experienced Testing & Inspection Engineer who takes pride in their work.
You’ll carry out Fixed Wiring Testing (EICRs) across domestic and commercial properties, alongside completing remedial works where needed including full rewires on non-compliant homes.
Working predominantly across South London, you’ll be part of a supportive team with access to a fully stocked warehouse, high-quality equipment, and an in-house training centre designed to help you keep progressing.
Key Responsibilities
*
Complete EICRs and remedial works to a high standard
*
Diagnose, identify and report electrical faults accurately
*
Record job notes, photos, and certificates using Oneserve and EasyCert
*
Communicate professionally with residents, clients, and colleagues
*
Deliver excellent customer service on every visit
*
Work safely in line with Health & Safety regulations
*
Support continuous improvement across the business
*
Carry out additional tasks as requested by management
What We’re Looking For
*
Strong industry knowledge with extensive testing & inspection experience
*
Confident completing electrical certification
*
Solid diagnostic and fault-finding skills
*
Good communication and customer service approach
*
Accurate reporting and attention to detail
*
Ability to work well within a team
*
Comfortable using mobile devices for electronic job sheets
*
Positive attitude, reliability, and professionalism
Qualifications Required
*
Level 3 Electrical Installations Diploma
*
NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification (or equivalent)
*
2391-51 Inspection & Testing
*
18th Edition
*
Full UK driving licence
