Job Title: Electrician – HS2 Project Location: Oxford Area Contract Type: Long-term / Project-based First 39hrs £21.06 After 39hrs £31.59 Saturday first 4hrs £31.59Saturday after 4hrs £42.12* Digs per day £51.60*Travel up to 15miles £8.57+£2.85 Additional Pension + Holiday About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team on the HS2 infrastructure project, one of the UK’s largest and most complex construction schemes. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical installation and maintenance works in accordance with HS2 standards, site procedures, and health & safety regulations. Key Responsibilities * Carry out electrical installation, testing, and maintenance works across HS2 construction sites * Work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary site gang * Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and method statements * Install containment systems, cabling, lighting, power supplies, and associated equipment * Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations, HS2 specifications, and site safety requirements * Identify and report defects, hazards, or non-conformances * Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and site professionalism * Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on site About the Candidate Essential Requirements * Proven experience as an Electrician on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects * Strong understanding of electrical installation standards and site safety procedures * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Confident working from technical drawings and plans Competencies & Certifications (One Required) * JIB Electrotechnical Certification OR * ECS Gold Card or ECS White/Brown Card OR * CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card Desirable (Not Essential) * Previous experience working on HS2 or major infrastructure projects * IPAF / PASMA * Knowledge of rail or tunnel environments What We Offer * Long-term work on a flagship UK infrastructure project * Competitive rates with consistent hours * Opportunity to work within a high-performing, safety-driven team
