Job Description

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Electrician to join a Housing Association on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

This role involves carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), completing remedial works including consumer unit replacements, and supporting the delivery of a reliable and customer-focused maintenance service.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Undertake EICRs across domestic properties.

  * 

    Carry out remedial electrical works, including consumer unit changes.

  * 

    Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs in line with regulations and company standards.

  * 

    Ensure all work complies with NICEIC standards and current electrical regulations.

  * 

    Maintain accurate records of works completed using electronic systems.

  * 

    Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with residents.

  * 

    Ensure tools, equipment and materials are maintained and used safely.

  * 

    Respond to service requests and breakdowns in line with contract requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  * 

    City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent).

  * 

    BS2391 Testing & Inspection or equivalent certification.

  * 

    Experience completing EICRs and electrical remedial works
