Job Description

Electrician

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team on a commercial construction project.

Electrician Responsibilities

  * Carrying out electrical snagging works across completed commercial areas and facilities

  * Identifying, diagnosing, and rectifying electrical defects in line with project specifications and quality standards

  * Testing and commissioning electrical installations where required

  * Replacing or repairing damaged accessories, lighting systems, containment, power outlets, and other electrical components

  * Ensuring all electrical systems are fully operational and ready for client handover

  * Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and snagging schedules

  * Liaising with site management and other trades to complete outstanding works within project deadlines

  * Assisting with final inspections and ensuring compliance with current electrical regulations

  * Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment at all times

Electrician Requirements

  * Valid ECS Gold Card

  * NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

  * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

  * Proven experience carrying out snagging, testing, fault finding, and final fix works on commercial construction projects

  * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

  * Experience working with commercial lighting, power, and containment systems

  * Own tools and PPE

  * Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet project handover deadlines

  * Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finished work
