Electrician – Exeter / DevonPermanent  £40,000–£42,000 per year  Company Van & Fuel Card

Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a busy and friendly team carrying out electrical maintenance on MOD domestic properties across Devon.

The role will mainly cover Exeter, Exmouth and Taunton, with the successful candidate based within a suitable location to cover the area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrician looking for secure, permanent work, with a competitive salary, company van and fuel card.

£40,000–£42,000 per year

£42,000 available for candidates holding a 2391 qualification

Electrician – The RoleYou will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance and repairs on domestic properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Duties will include:

Carrying out electrical maintenance and repairs on domestic properties

Fault finding and problem solving

Carrying out electrical testing where required

Completing remedial works

Providing a professional service to customers

Reporting to the Supervisor and keeping them updated on completed works

Completing job sheets and relevant paperwork

Travelling between properties in a company van

Driving the company vehicle safely and responsibly

Electrician – Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent

18th Edition

2391 qualification desirable

Good experience carrying out domestic electrical maintenance

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Full UK driving licence

Good customer service and communication skills

Reliable with good timekeeping

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Please note: A full DBS check and additional security clearance will be required due to the nature of the work.
