Job Description

Join a well-established property maintenance contractor working across Stratford-upon-Avon, Leamington Spa and surrounding areas, where your skills will make a real difference in tenants’ homes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a stable team delivering responsive repairs, maintenance and electrical testing across social housing properties. With Monday to Friday working hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm, a fully equipped van and a generous benefits package, you’ll have everything you need to get on with the job.

I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as an Electrician, Electrical Tester or Electrical Maintenance Engineer within social housing or domestic properties.

As an Electrician, you will be:

Carrying out responsive electrical repairs and maintenance
Completing EICRs, inspections, testing and remedial upgrades
Installing, servicing and maintaining domestic electrical systems
Completing the appropriate electrical certificates and condition reports
Working towards a first-time fix wherever possible
Providing a professional service within occupied social housing properties
I’d love to speak to anyone who has:

NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification, including the appropriate practical competency/AM2
City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points and no recent driving bans
The ability to pass a Basic DBS check
Testing & Inspection qualifications such as 2391 would be advantageous
Previous experience completing electrical repairs and maintenance within domestic or social housing properties

This role is offering a base salary of around £37,500, with the annual bonus taking potential earnings to around £39,500 before on-call payments. There is also an on-call rota approximately once every six weeks, paying around £105 for the week plus approximately £55 per call-out.

Location & travelThis Electrician role covers Stratford-upon-Avon, Leamington Spa and surrounding areas. Travel between social housing properties is required, with a company van and fuel card provided for work purposes. The patch offers good road links across Warwickshire and the wider West Midlands via the M40, A46 and surrounding routes.
