Location:  Hull, East Yorkshire

Salary: £20 an hour

A M Hardy Electrical Ltd is currently seeking a qualified Electrician to join our growing team.

We’re looking for a qualified Electrician to complete a varied role including EICR testing in private and social housing. And Electrical works across domestic and commercial Installations.
 
 You’ll work diligently ensuring every installation is safe, compliant and completed to a high standard.

The role will primarily involve domestic electrical work, with occasional commercial contracts and maintenance tasks. With most of the work in the local area, prior experience in this field is highly desirable.

What You’ll Be Doing

Carrying out testing, fault-finding and remedial electrical work

Replacing faulty wiring, controls, sockets and electrical components
Upgrading domestic smoke alarm systems
Completing site-specific health and safety risk assessments
Identifying and reporting unsafe or non-compliant installations
Updating job tickets and certification using a PDA system
Working closely with other trades, planners and residents
Skills and Qualifications

Fully qualified Electrician with City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, AM2, and an ECS Gold Card.
C&G 2391 or similar testing qualification
Full clean, UK driving licence.
Good time management and attention to detail
Positive and professional approach
Strong testing and fault-finding skill
Legal right to work in the UK.

Holiday entitlement starting at 28 days per year (including bank holidays), increasing by one day per year after your first year of service, up to a maximum of 35 days (including bank holidays).
Paid travel time from home to site and back, less a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Overtime and bonus payments available, with full details to be discussed at interview.
