 Monday–Friday 39 Hours Per Week

Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a well-established social housing contractor, delivering responsive electrical repairs and maintenance across occupied properties throughout North West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrician looking for long-term permanent employment, with a competitive salary of £48,716, company van and fuel card, additional call-out opportunities, strong benefits and ongoing career development.

You will be working directly in residents' homes, carrying out a variety of responsive electrical repairs while providing a professional and customer-focused service.

The RoleAs a Responsive Repairs Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and completing a wide range of domestic electrical repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.

Duties will include:

Carrying out responsive electrical repairs within occupied social housing properties
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
Working on lighting, sockets, circuits and consumer units
Completing repairs to heating controls, extractor fans and electrical accessories
Carrying out minor installation and remedial works
Fault finding and aiming for first-time fixes
Ensuring all works comply with BS7671 Wiring Regulations
Recording completed works using PDA/handheld systems
Liaising professionally with tenants and residents
Maintaining clean, safe and tidy working areas
Working to agreed response times and performance targets
Participating in the out-of-hours call-out rotaWhat's On Offer?

Ideally, you'll have:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Previous domestic electrical maintenance experience
Social housing, council or housing association experience preferred
Strong fault-finding skills
Good customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently
