Job Description
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £40,000 per year
Sector: Social Housing Contract
Key Responsibilities:
* Periodic testing in domestic properties
* Completing remedial work following EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports)
* PAT (Portable Appliance Testing)
* Electrical heating repair
* Handling small quotes and completing condition reports
* Ensuring high-quality customer care when interacting with clients and tenants
* Updating and communicating progress, both electronically and manually
* Adhering to all health and safety regulations (Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, COSHH)
* Ordering and auditing parts as necessary
Required Qualifications / Knowledge:
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
* 18th Edition wiring regulations
* City & Guilds 2391 qualification (inspection and testing)
* Knowledge of domestic electrical regulations (BS7671Experience in EICRs, electrical installations, and fault finding
* Proficient in electrical controls and circuits

* Ability to comply with criminal and reference checks
* Strong communication skills to ensure proper documentation and updates
