Job Description
1.
Installation & Testing:
*
Install, repair, and test electrical systems (e.g., lighting, power circuits, distribution boards).
*
Perform EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports) and issue Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs).
2.
Safety & Compliance:
*
Ensure adherence to BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations), Part P Building Regulations, and Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
*
Conduct risk assessments and implement safe isolation procedures (LOTO).
3.
Supervision:
*
Mentor Electrician’s Mates and Apprentices.
*
Oversee work quality and safety on-site.
4.
Fault Diagnosis:
*
Troubleshoot complex electrical faults using multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testersBefore You Apply
