Position: Electrical Engineer

About the Role
Our client are a leading organisation within the manufacturing sector, recognised for their high-quality products, innovation, and commitment to excellence. Based in Lincolnshire, they are seeking an experienced and proactive Electrical Engineer to support the ongoing maintenance and development of their facilities.
This role is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of their operations, helping to maintain continuous production and the consistent delivery of high-quality products to their customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct routine and reactive maintenance on all electrical systems and related equipment.
* Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise operational downtime.
* Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) in line with regulatory and safety standards.
* Collaborate with the wider maintenance and production teams to drive efficiency and performance.
* Assist in the implementation and commissioning of new equipment and technologies.
* Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies at all times.
Candidate Requirements
* A recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
* Strong working knowledge of electrical systems; experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation is highly desirable.
* Ability to interpret technical schematics and diagnose faults accurately.
* Solid understanding of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.
* Proactive, methodical approach with strong problem-solving skills.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites within Lincolnshire as required.
