Job Description
Cammach are currently recruiting for a Time Served Electrician on a Ltd Company contract basis. The role is located in Lerwick (3/1 rota) and includes flights, accommodation and mob / demob fee.
ROLE
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated time-served electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be involved in a mix of commercial, industrial, and domestic electrical installations and maintenance works. The role requires someone who can work independently, has excellent attention to detail, and possesses strong problem-solving skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) Testing
Install and maintain Solar PV & Solar Thermal
Car Chargers maintenance and installation
Maintain Control Systems & Panels
Perform Emergency Lighting Checks and Maintenance
Install and maintain Security Systems (CCTV, Intruder Systems)
UPS Systems installation and maintenance
Fire Alarm Systems testing, maintenance, and installation
Work with Power Generation Systems
Maintain AHUs/Heating Controls
Ensure Lightning Protection
Conduct PAT Testing
Install Networking systems
New Build Wiring installs
Pumps & Motor Maintenance & Installation
Control Panels & Generators work
Ex Installation, Inspection & Commissioning
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience as an electrician (time-served)
Experience in industrial and domestic electrical installations preferred
Knowledge in renewable energy systems such as Solar desirable
Full driving license essential
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
CompEX (preferrable but not essential)
18th edition preferable
Excellent attention to detailBefore You Apply
