Job Description
Job Title: Electrician - AWP09 Authorised (Live Panel Work)
Location: Glasgow (G81)
Rate: £30.00 per hour (Outside IR35 - Ltd Company or CIS)
Duration: 6- 8 weeks potentially longer
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 45 per week (Mon-Thurs: 10 hrs/day, Fri: 5 hrs - early finish)
Overview:
We are recruiting for 2 x Electricians to support ongoing works on a major infrastructure project in the Glasgow area. The role involves completing electrical works within live panels in a high-voltage substation environment.
Responsibilities:
Carry out electrical installation and terminations in live panels
Adhere strictly to live working safety protocols (AWP09 required)
Interpret and work from detailed drawings and technical specs
Communicate effectively with project supervisors and engineers
Ensure a high standard of workmanship and site safety
Requirements:
Valid AWP09 (Live Working in Panels) certification - Essential
Experience on high-voltage substation or transmission projects
