Electrician - Social Housing
Location: Essex
Salary: £38,000 per annum + Call-Out Pay
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established maintenance provider within the social housing sector, seeking a qualified Electrician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated tradesperson to work in a rewarding, resident-focused environment.
The Role
Carry out electrical repairs, installations, and replacements in occupied and void properties
Fault find and recommend appropriate solutions
Complete minor works certificates and maintain accurate records
Use a PDA to log job details, notes, and photos
Participate in a 1-week-per-month on-call rota
Package & Benefits
Base Salary: £38,000 per annum
Call-Out Pay:
£12.50 per day (standby)
£25 per hour (per call-out)
On-Call Requirement: 1 week per month
Company Van & Fuel Card Provided
PDA Provided for Job Management
Requirements
BS 7671 18th Edition
City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
C&G 2391/2 or 2394/5 (Testing & Inspecting)
Full UK Driving Licence (max 6 points)
Ability to pass employment checks
