We are currently hiring for an exciting opportunity for electrician in a social housing division in the Kensington area. You will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance and repair services in both occupied and void properties. You will ensure that all electrical work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, contributing to the safety of the residents.
Responsibilities-
Carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance on domestic properties both tenanted and voided.
Diagnosing and repairing or installing new light fixtures, ventilation fans, and switches/socket outlets.
Conducting fault finding and remedial work to ensure all electrical systems are safe and functional.
Ensure compliance with all electrical regulations (e.g., IET Wiring Regulations, 18th Edition) and health & safety standards.
Perform PAT testing and work with electrical systems in occupied and void properties.
Skills required
Proven experience as an electrician
C&G Electrical installation / NVQ3
18th edition
Social housing experience
JIB Gold Card preferred
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid UK driving license
