Electrician – Cardiff -Day & Night Shifts | Stable, Single-Site Role | Up to £46,000
Location: Cardiff (Single Site – Educational Campus)
Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance)
Shifts: Rotating Day & Night Shifts
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We’re looking for a qualified and reliable Electrician to join the on-site maintenance team at a large, well-known educational facility in Cardiff. This is a static role (no travel required) and involves working rotating day and night shifts, ensuring the site remains safe, compliant, and fully operational at all times.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
*
Diagnose and repair faults across a range of electrical systems
*
Support compliance testing (emergency lighting, fire alarms, etc.)
*
Work closely with the site facilities team and respond to urgent requests
*
Maintain accurate service records and reports
*
Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times
What We’re Looking For:
*
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
*
Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) – desirable
*
Experience in a commercial or education environment preferred
*
Comfortable working day and night shift patterns
*
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
*
Excellent communication and a proactive attitude
