Job Description
My client is a leading property services company, offering multi disciplinary services to suit their clients requirements.
Due to an expansion in their contracts, they are seeking a qualified Electrician to join their team in London, who specialise in building maintenance within commercial & residential properties.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with previous experience in the building maintenance industry and a varied knowledge of carrying out electrical maintenance duties in a commercial or residential environment.
Duties will include but not limited to:
* Routine and reactive maintenance across a variety of electrical equipment
* Electrical equipment repairs
* Diagnostics and identifying electrical faults
* Installation, modification and replacement of electrical equipment
* PAT Testing
* Inspecting electrical systems
* Assisting other trades and gaining skill training
* Procurement of materials and equipment to carry out works.
* Completing all paperwork and producing certification associated with works undertaken
* Completion of work sheets via our mobile app
* This is a mobile role
Required qualifications and experience:
* A hardworking, reliable work ethic, flexible as overtime & OOH works may be required depending on client or job requirements.
* Previous experience in maintenance and building environments, ideally within commercial or residential sectors.
* A HSE understanding
* Full UK Driver’s License (not essential)
* Previous use of handheld technology / smartphone
* Take pride in doing everything you do to the highest standard
* A good communicator, who understands the importance of customer service.
* City and Guilds qualifications or equivalent
* Minimum 5 years of experience in the building industry
