Our client, a highly successful and prestigious Marine Engineering Business is seeking to source Electricians for a large Naval Project for minimum 1 year contract.
Candidate Requirements:
• Trade Papers (SVQ, NVQ, National Certificate, Modern Apprenticeship, SJIB/Gold card) are required and trade tests are done on first day followed by H&S inductions.
• Comfortable at working at height/confined space
• Clear understanding of SHE Induction, COSHH risks awareness and manufacturing processes
• Candidates with large scale industrial or construction experience will be considered
Core responsibilities:
• Primary working on installation of Cabling and fitting of systems such as Junction Boxes, Fuse panels, etc
• Cable weaving, glanding (making watertight) and termination
• Installation of all types of cables (multi-core, single core, co - axle, and fibre optic) & electrical systems (junction boxes, fuse panels, consoles, transformers, switches etc.) cable reeving, cable banding and cable terminations and alignment and installation of all electrical equipment.
• Using a range of hand tools
Dayshift 0700 – 1630 (Mon-Thurs)
Standard 36 - PAYE rate £20.10 + holiday pay / Umbrella £26.90
Weekday & Sat Overtime - PAYE £30.15 + holiday pay / Umbrella £38.40
Sunday - PAYE £40.20 + holiday pay /Umbrella £50.98
Backshift 1400 – 23.30 & Nightshift 20.30 – 0600 (Mon-Thurs)
Standard 36 - PAYE rate £26.73 + holiday pay / Umbrella £35.67
Weekday & Sat Overtime - PAYE £30.15 + holiday pay / Umbrella £38.40
Sunday - PAYE £40.20 + holiday pay /Umbrella £50.98
Radius allowance of £8.00 per hour on standard 36 for candidates 39 miles+
Ability to satisfy Baseline Security clearance and Disclosure Scotland are mandatory for this key role.
