Permanent Position
Glasgow - Scotstoun or Govan
£38,662
Please ensure you have attached a copy of your qualifications when submitting your application.
Day to Day you will be -
Installing of all types of cables (multi-core, single core and co-axial) & electrical systems (junction boxes, fuse panels, consoles, transformers, switches etc.)
Cable terminations and installation of all electrical equipment
Using a range of hand tools
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Collaborate with shipbuilding teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of electrical installations
Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards
Your skills and experiences:
Modern Apprenticeship certificate, also known as Trade Papers (you will be required to provide papers)
Understanding of electrical installation drawings
Clear understanding of SHE Risks Awareness
Understanding of manufacturing processes
Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and/or at height
Safety certification i.e. SHE Induction, COSHH awareness, working at height etc
Background in a major construction / manufacturing environment
