Electrician – Contract (Temp-to-Perm Pathway)
£26.50 per hour | Company Van Provided | Central Belt Projects
CNX Recruitment are seeking skilled Electricians to join our client’s team on a contract basis, with a strong pathway to permanent employment.
The Role
You’ll be working across residential and commercial projects, carrying out installation, commissioning, and servicing of lighting and control systems (primarily Lutron), as well as general electrical works. The position offers a mix of new-build and retrofit projects, with excellent scope for long-term progression.
Key Responsibilities
*
Install, commission, and service lighting and control systems (mainly Lutron).
*
Work on both new-build and retrofit projects.
*
Carry out diagnostics, fault-finding, and repairs on lighting controls and power distribution.
*
Liaise with site contacts and report to the Operations Director.
Requirements
*
ECS / JIB Gold Card (preferred).
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
*
IPAF / PASMA advantageous (training provided if not held).
*
Lutron or lighting control experience desirable (training available).
*
Strong general electrical background with a problem-solving mindset.
What’s On Offer

£26.50 per hour (contract, temp-to-perm).

Company van provided (with option to take home, subject to insurance/location).
*
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.
*
Overtime available: time-and-a-half (weekdays/Saturdays), double-time (Sundays/bank holidays).
*
Site-specific induction and ongoing training (including Lutron systems).
*
Travel expenses covered for projects further afield.
Locations
*
Projects mainly across the Central Belt.
*
Occasional travel UK-wide (all expenses covered).
