Job description: Electrician
Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 per year (DOE)
Location: South East London
Transport: Company Van & Fuel Card
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (30-minute lunch)
Holidays: 22 days + 8 bank holidays + birthday leave (increases to 25 days with service)
The Role:
As an Electrician, you will install mains-operated smoke and heat detectors, emergency lighting, and fused spurs in social housing environments, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Install smoke & heat detectors, emergency lighting, and fused spurs
Complete test certificates following installations
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and customer service
Take ownership of tasks and complete work to deadlines
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Skills & Experience:
Fully qualified electrician with certificates 2391-52 inspection and testing qualification
Experience completing test certificates essential
Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
Permanent right to work in the UK and pass a DBS check
