Job Description
Contek Recruitment are working with a leading NICEIC Approved electrical contractor, based in Birmingham, who deliver high-quality electrical services across both domestic and commercial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their team with an experienced Electrician.
This is a varied role covering new installations, compliance testing, EICRs, fault finding, and EV charger installations across the Midlands. The company pride themselves on fast response times, high standards of workmanship, and strong client relationships.
The Role:
* Carry out new electrical installations across domestic and commercial projects
* Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
* Diagnose and repair faults in homes and businesses
* Install EV charging points
* Work to current safety regulations and building codes
* Use tools and testing equipment effectively
* Communicate clearly with clients and keep accurate records
What We’re Looking For:
* 2391 Inspection & Testing certification (essential)
* Proven experience in installations, EICRs, fault finding, and EV charger work
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safe working practices
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* 5+ years’ experience in the trade
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
