Job Description

Electrician – Solar PV & Battery Systems Location: Ware, Hertfordshire (projects across London & Home Counties) Salary: £45,000+ DOE Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are looking for fully qualified electricians with experience in solar PV and battery storage systems to join our expanding team. Projects are spread across London and the Home Counties, offering variety and opportunities to work on innovative renewable energy installations. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and testing solar PV systems and battery storage solutions, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities * Install and commission solar PV systems and battery storage units * Carry out routine maintenance and fault diagnosis on renewable energy systems * Work on-site across London and Home Counties projects * Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and health & safety standards * Liaise with clients and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery * Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues Requirements * Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) * Proven experience with solar PV and battery storage systems * Strong understanding of electrical regulations and safety standards * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London & Home Counties Desirable * Experience with commercial and residential solar PV installations * Knowledge of EV charging infrastructure What’s on Offer * Competitive salary: £45,000+ depending on experience * Varied projects across London and the Home Counties * Opportunities for career progression in renewable energy and electrical services * Supportive team environment with ongoing training and development
