Covering South West
£35'000 - £40'000 + Training + Life Assurance + Progression + 25 Days Holiday (+BH) + Pension

This well-established company are the renewable engineering arm of a national wholesaler, specialising in the design and installation of domestic and commercial solar PV projects across the South West and nationwide. They have been operating in the sector for over 12 years and have a long-standing reputation for honesty and integrity where the team are proud of the work they deliver. The business is currently thriving as the UK strives towards the net zero targets. As a result, they have exciting expansion plans moving forward, and are now looking to grow their engineering team to facilitate future success.
In this role, the Electrician will be responsible for the electrical installation and testing of solar PV and battery storage systems to domestic properties across the South West and commercial projects nationwide. Training on solar PV will be provided, and once up to standard you will be able to work independently and train junior electricians. Occasional stay aways will be required.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrician, NVQ Level 3 and/or time-served, with a desire to learn new technology and progress into the renewable sector. For the right candidate with a good level of experience, the company are willing to fund qualifications such as C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing. You must have excellent communication and customer service skills, and a full UK Driving License.

The Role:
*Electrical installation of Solar PV and battery storage systems on domestic and commercial roof-tops
*Test and sign off electrical work
*Responsible for H&S and other trainee electricians on site
*Provide excellent customer service and be respectful in customer properties
*Covering South-West region for domestic, with some nationwide travel and stay aways to commercial sites
The Person:
*NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
*18th Edition
*Experience working in commercial / industrial environments is advantageous
*2391 Inspection and Testing is desirable
*Experience on Solar PV is advantageous
*Excellent communication and customer service skills
*Willing to travel across the South West, and nationwide with stay aways where required
*Full UK Driving license
