Electromechanical Fitter – Aberdeen | Site & Offshore Work Available

KBM Resourcing are working with a leading engineering service provider in Aberdeen, who are experiencing exciting growth thanks to new contract wins and increased workload. As part of their expansion, they are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Fitter to join their expert team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and forward-thinking business that values its people, promotes a strong team culture, and offers opportunities for offshore and site-based travel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect, disassemble, and overhaul LV & HV rotating machines.
* Conduct repairs and maintenance on motors used in explosive atmospheres.
* Evaluate damage and wear on AC/DC motors and rotating equipment.
* Ensure all work meets quality and technical compliance standards.
* Complete and submit daily/weekly paperwork accurately and on time.
What You’ll Need:
* NVQ or City & Guilds in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
* Experience in an electromechanical/rotating machinery environment.
* Understanding of root cause analysis and precision measuring tools.
* Willingness to travel for site-based or offshore work as required.
* AEMT certification (preferred but not essential).
* Offshore certification (preferred but not essential).
