Are you experienced in electronics assembly, testing, and fault finding? Or perhaps you're a recent Electronics Engineering graduate looking for your first step into industry?
We're recruiting for an Electronic Test & Repair Technician to join a growing manufacturer in Harrogate, producing electromechanical equipment for a wide range of industries.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team where you'll be involved in both building new products and diagnosing and repairing returned equipment.
The Role
*Build and assemble electromechanical products from engineering drawings and specifications
*Carry out fault finding, rework, and repairs to component level
*Select, fit, and solder electronic components
*Assemble and repair cable insertion systems
*Undertake mechanical strip-down and reassembly work
*Perform final product testing and quality inspections
*Ensure products meet customer and company quality standards
About You
*Experience testing, fault-finding, and repairing electronic equipment to component level, or a relevant qualification in Electronic Engineering
*Good soldering skills and confidence using a range of hand tools
*The ability to identify common electronic and mechanical components
*Experience repairing cable assemblies or similar equipment
*Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as multimeters and continuity testers
*A positive attitude and the ability to work within a fast-paced production environment
