Electronic Test Engineer - Contract - Essex
Platform have partneered with an innovative electronics company. They are looking to take on an electronics tester or test engineer on a contract basis to support high-level soldering, PCB rework, and electronics testing.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone confident working to IPC standards, with a solid understanding of electronic components and test equipment.
Required Skills & Certifications:
*
IPC-A-610 and/or IPC J-STD-001 certification
*
Experience in PCB rework and repair
*
Familiarity with IPC-7711/21
*
Strong hand-soldering skills
Desirable Experience:
*
Experience with IPC Class 3 assemblies
*
Knowledge of test equipment
*
Familiarity with ESD-safe practices
