Electronics Engineer – High Wycombe | £35,000–£50,000 | Permanent Role
We’re hiring an Electronics Engineer to join a forward-thinking company based in High Wycombe, specialising in lighting control systems and smart technologies.
This permanent role is ideal for someone experienced in electronic/electrical circuit design, PCB schematics, and product development. You'll play a critical role in bringing cutting-edge lighting technology to life, from concept to in-field testing.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
*
Design PCBs for new and existing systems: DALI drivers, BLE, PoE, LED modules, sensors & more.
*
Create schematics, BOMs, production packs, and maintain detailed design documentation.
*
Fault-finding, prototype development, product testing, and EMC/LVD compliance.
*
Support internal teams with wiring diagrams, testing, and troubleshooting guidance.
*
Collaborate with the CTO and Product Director on new projects and improvements.
*
Provide occasional in-house technical support and supplier/manufacturer coordination.
✅ Experience & Skills Required:
*
Degree, apprenticeship, HND/BTEC in Electronic Engineering or similar.
*
Hands-on PCB design and layout experience.
*
Familiarity with EMC, LVD, BLE devices, and lighting systems is highly beneficial.
*
Strong documentation and cross-functional team collaboration skills.
