Job Description
Our client, a key player in the Defence & Security sector, is looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their team at their preferred sites in either Dorset or West London. This permanent position offers a hybrid work model, with 2/3 days onsite preferred. The role may involve occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing solutions and solving complex problems to deliver engineering projects on-time, on-quality, and within budget
Writing reports and presenting work at peer and design reviews
Developing processes for the team and providing technical advice to influence decisions
Staying current on trends and emerging technologies and tools
Training, coaching, and advising more junior team members
Estimating engineering packages of work to identify dependencies and ensure deliverability
Ensuring safety, environmental protection, and compliance in all tasks
Job Requirements:
Experience in electronics design and engineering
Ability to develop solutions for complex engineering problems
Strong report writing and presentation skills
Experience in providing technical advice and influencing decisions
Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in electronics engineering
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field
Eligibility for SC clearance
