Job Description

Job Title: SC Cleared Electronic Design Engineer (Contract) Location: Surrey (4 days/week on-site) Rate: £55 - £70 per hour (Outside IR35) Duration: 6 Months Clearance: Must already hold active SC clearance We're hiring an experienced Electronic Design Engineer for a 6-month Outside IR35 contract with a leading defence and technology company in Surrey. This role is focused on analogue circuit design for sonar systems, working on both new designs and updates to existing products. Key Requirements: Active SC Clearance (you must already be cleared) Strong analogue design experience, ideally for sonar, audio, or sensor-based systems Experience with low-noise signal conditioning, filtering, and amplification Skilled in schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium, OrCAD, etc.) Good understanding of EMC, test, and design for manufacture Mixed-signal or embedded experience is a bonus, but this is mainly an analogue role
