We are looking for a Graduate Electronics Engineer to join a long-established consultancy business based in Greater Manchester. They have been successfully operating for over 30 years and are now looking to expand the team and appoint a talented Electronics Engineer. This role offers exposure to varied projects, mentorship from highly experienced engineers and a genuine pathway for career development. Graduates will start on a salary of up to £35,000 with full training and mentoring. Graduates with some prior work experience in electronics could achieve a salary of up to £42,0000 reflecting your additional skills and immediate value to the team.
Key Responsibilities for this Electronics Engineer role:
Designing and developing electronic systems from concept to delivery.
Troubleshooting and root cause analysis on existing designs.
Creating schematics and layouts using CAD tools.
Working with microprocessors, digital ICs, and FPGA technology.
Developing firmware for embedded systems (C++, Python etc.).
Performing signal processing and debugging to optimise performance.
Collaborating with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration.
Hands-on SMT soldering and prototype assembly.
Participating in design reviews and suggesting improvements.Qualifications and experience needed for this Electronics Engineering role:
Degree in Electronics or a closely related subject (essential).
Solid foundation in electronic engineering principles.
Enthusiasm to learn - experience is welcome but not essential.
