Electronics Engineering Technician £28,000 - £32,000 DOE Full-Time on site | 39 hours a week with Early Finish Fridays! Commutable from - South Wales and surrounding areas Are you an experienced Electronics Engineering Technician with a background in electrical assembly, manufacturing or electromechanical production? Are you confident reading technical drawings, supporting production and turning engineering information into practical manufacturing processes? This could be an excellent opportunity to join an established manufacturing business in a varied, hands-on engineering role. You'll work closely with Engineering and Production across manufacturing documentation, tooling, production support, testing, equipment maintenance, NPI and continuous improvement. For more information please click apply and contact Shannon Webb - REF 5341 -(phone number removed) The Role Engineering Support: Provide practical engineering support across day-to-day operations, helping teams resolve technical issues and keep production running efficiently. Technical Information: Review and interpret technical information, drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available to support manufacturing activities. Process Support: Assist with the development, implementation and improvement of manufacturing processes, ensuring products can be produced safely, consistently and efficiently. Problem Solving: Investigate technical and production issues, identify root causes and implement practical solutions to improve reliability and quality. Tools & Equipment: Support the introduction, maintenance and improvement of production equipment, tools and other resources used within the manufacturing environment. New Product Activity: Assist with new and existing product builds, supporting the transition of products and processes into routine production. Quality Support: Assist with quality investigations, corrective actions and process improvements where required. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, improve quality and simplify manufacturing processes. Cross-Functional Working: Work closely with Engineering, Production and other internal teams to provide effective technical support and help deliver ongoing improvements. The Candidate Engineering qualification at Level 3 or above. Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Comfortable interpreting technical drawings and engineering information. Practical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving. Strong attention to detail. Good understanding of manufacturing processes. Confident working both independently and as part of a wider team. Good communication and organisational skills. Experience with engineering systems, technical documentation or continuous improvement would be advantageous. What's in it for you? £28,000 - £32,000 salary. Early Finish Fridays!
