Electronics Test Engineer

Location: Barnstaple
Contract Type: Contract (6 Months)
Working Pattern: 4 days onsite minimum
Pay: £50 per hour (Inside IR35)
Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC)

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Test Engineer to support ongoing engineering programmes within a highly regulated industry. This role will be primarily onsite in Barnstaple, working within a multi-disciplinary engineering team on high-integrity electronic systems used in challenging environments.

The successful candidate will contribute to the testing, validation, and integration of electronic systems, supporting development activities and ensuring product reliability in demanding operational conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support engineers with prototype assembly, rework, and repair activities
• Assist with design verification and validation, including functional and environmental testing
• Carry out system integration, validation, and fault investigation during development phases
• Design, build, and commission test fixtures and custom jigs to support engineering activities
• Prepare and configure electrical, electronic, and system-level test equipment
• Support external compliance testing activities such as EMC and environmental testing
